RESUMEN.- En Uruguay, la resistencia a los antihelmínticos está ampliamente distribuida, estimulando a investigar medidas de control alternativas. El objetivo fue evaluar el efecto de un extracto de taninos condensados de Schinopsis balansae (Quebracho) o levadura de Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-1077 (LEVUCELL®SC) sobre los nematodos gastrointestinal (NGI) de corderos. .............................................. ABSTRACT.- In Uruguay, anthelmintic resistance in sheep is widely distributed, which has made research into alternative control measures necessary. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of a condensed tannins (CT) extract from Schinopsis balansae (Quebracho) (SB) or the effect of a yeast strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (LEVUCELL®SC) (SC) against sheep gastrointestinal nematodes (NGI).
