El psicoanálisis plantea abordar al sujeto en su singularidad, considerando los discursos que lo atraviesan y su estructura clínica subjetiva. A partir del análisis de los llamados “casos inclasificables”, Jaques-Alain Miller propone el término “psicosis ordinaria” como clínica ordinaria de la psicosis. Jacques Lacan a partir de los escritos de James Joyce, pluraliza el significante Nombre-Del-Padre y plantea al sinthome como solución estabilizadora del sujeto ordinario, el cual actúa dentro de su propio saber-hacer. De esta manera, la dirección de la intervención apuntó hacia una clínica borromea, aportando otra forma de pensar la clínica psicoanalítica y posibilitando la investigación e intervención desde el rol del analista, frente a la propuesta de Miller. Esta herramienta epistemológica quizás nos acerca a reflexionar uno de los tantos aforismos lacanianos “tu no me ves desde donde yo te miro ”.

Psychoanalysis approaches the subject in its singularity, considering the discourses that cross it and its subjective clinical structure. From the analysis of the so-called "unclassifiable cases", Jaques-Alain Miller proposes the term "ordinary psychosis" as an ordinary psychosis clinic. Jacques Lacan, from the writings of James Joyce, pluralizes the significant Name-of-the-Father and poses the sinthome as a stabilizing solution of the ordinary subject, which acts within its own know-how. In this way, the direction of the intervention pointed towards a Borromean clinic, providing another way of thinking about the psychoanalytic clinic and enabling research and intervention from the role of the analyst, against the proposal of Miller. This epistemological tool may bring us closer to reflect on one of the many Lacanian aphorisms "you do not see me from where I look at you".
