Primer registro de Eumops perotis (Molossidae: Chirptera) para Uruguay
Resumen:
Se cita por primera vez a Eumops perotis (SCHINZ, 1821) para Uruguay en base a la identificación de sus vocalizaciones. El registro se llevó a cabo en la localidad cuchilla de Peralta, departamento de Tacuarembó, en febrero de 2013. Se realizaron análisis bioacústicos estándar de las llamadas y se compararon con las vocalizaciones de otros molósidos presentes en Uruguay y de E. perotis procedentes de Chile y Perú mediante un FDA. El registro de este murciélago eleva a 23 la cantidad de especies de quirópteros presentes en Uruguay.
Eumops perotis (SCHINZ, 1821) is cited for the first time for Uruguay on the basis of calls identification. The record was made in the locality cuchilla de Peralta, department of Tacuarembó, in february of 2013. Standard bioacoustis analysis of the calls was made and through a FDA it were compared with vocalizations of other molossids present in Uruguay and of E. perotis from Chile and Perú. The record of this bat state in 23 the number of species of chiropterans present in Uruguay.
