Son poc@s, pero existen: la población trans en contexto de privación de libertad en Uruguay

Resumen:
El presente trabajo final de grado bajo el formato de monografía procura hacer una articulación teórica sobre la población trans privada de libertad en Uruguay, contextualizando brevemente la situación de otros países. Se busca caracterizar el contexto de dicha población y las afectaciones psicosociales que padecen, realizando una revisión de textos académicos y normativas para aportar al estudio de una población vulnerable en un contexto con mayores vulnerabilidades. Describir los obstáculos institucionales, sociales y culturales a partir de la articulación de materiales teóricos.
The present final degree project, in the format of a monograph, aims to provide a theoretical framework on the transgender population deprived of liberty in Uruguay, briefly contextualizing the situation in other countries. The goal is to characterize the context of this population and the psychosocial impacts they endure, by reviewing academic texts and regulations to make a contribution to the study of a vulnerable population in a context with greater vulnerabilities. It also seeks to describe the institutional, social, and cultural obstacles based on the integration of theoretical materials.
