El presente trabajo de grado busca, a través de una revisión bibliográfica, determinar las consecuencias de la carencia afectiva infantil (especialmente de la figura materna). Pretende dar a conocer la importancia que tiene la presencia y el vínculo temprano con un O(o)tro en el desarrollo psíquico del niño. El mismo se organiza en tres secciones. Se parte de una aproximación a la teoría del apego. Se plantea, a través de una articulación de postulados, la relevancia que tienen los cuidados para el desarrollo del infante. La segunda parte aborda la influencia que tiene el ambiente para el desarrollo del niño, focalizándose en los contextos socioeconómicos críticos. La tercera parte pretende conectar las anteriores, dando a conocer las consecuencias que conlleva para el psiquismo de un niño perteneciente a un contexto vulnerable, no recibir los cuidados necesarios por parte de su figura principal de apego. Debe considerarse que tanto el entorno como la familia y los vínculos que el niño tenga, serán determinantes en su desarrollo.

This graduation task tries to determinate, through a bibliography research, the consequences of children affective lack (especially of mother’s figure). It pretends to show the importance of the presence and an early relationship in the child psychic. The task is organised in three sections. It is based on an approximation to the attachment theory. It arises through an articulation of principles, the relevance for the development of the infant care. The second part deals with the influence that the environment for the development of the child has, focusing on the critical socio-economic contexts. The third part is intended to connect the above, showing the consequences that entails for the psyche of a child who belongs to a vulnerable context, do not receive the necessary care by his principal attachment figure. It must be considered that both the environment and family, and ties that the child has, will be decisive in his development.
