El presente trabajo final de grado, de carácter monográfico, tiene como objetivo plantear la importancia de la inclusión de los padres en el psicoanálisis con niños en relación con los tiempos hipermodernos y las nuevas parentalidades que lo caracterizan. Para esto, se realizará un breve recorrido histórico acerca de los orígenes del psicoanálisis con niños teniendo en cuenta que ellos no siempre ocuparon el mismo lugar en la sociedad. A su vez, se señalarán las diferentes posiciones que pueden ocupar los padres en la consulta, siempre apuntando a que lo ideal es tener presente que su presencia es fundamental. Por otro lado, se plantearán las diversas maneras en que los padres pueden llegar a la consulta, así como también, el desarrollo del tratamiento: desde las entrevistas iniciales hasta la finalización del análisis. Se articulará todo lo anterior con conceptos característicos de la teoría psicoanalítica: transferencia, demanda, síntoma y función paterna y materna como esenciales en la estructuración psíquica del niño.

This end of grade paper, of monographic nature, aims to propose the importance of the inclusion of parents in psychoanalysis with children in relation to hypermodern times and the new kinds of parenting that characterizes them. To this end, a brief historical journey about the origins of psychoanalysis with children will be carried out, taking into account that they did not always hold the same place in our society. At the same time, the different roles that parents can perform in the consultation will be pointed out; always keeping in mind that the ideal situation is to be aware that their presence is essential. Besides that, the various ways in which parents can come to the consultation will be proposed, as well as the development of the treatment – from the initial interviews to the end of the analysis. All of the above will be articulated with typical concepts of the psychoanalytic theory – transference, demand, symptom and paternal and maternal roles as essential in the psychic structuring of the child.
