Firm capacity in highly integrated renewable energy systems.
Resumen:
Uruguay carried out a successful and aggressive integration of wind and solar energy from 2014 to 2018. With the new generation matrix, it was necessary to review the concept of Firm Capacity and its recognition as a product in the market. The methodology developed and implemented is presented with the modifications that were necessary to make in the regulatory framework.
