Resumen:
Mediante la reflexión sobre las revoluciones liberales es posible verificar la existencia de diversas culturas jurídicas, las cuales en el marco de la cultura europea generan variadas instituciones jurídicas para la consolidación de los Estados nación. Estudiar la historia de las culturas jurídicas en las revoluciones liberales nos ayudará a comprender que toda cultura tiene sus creencias, normas y valores, los cuales están en un flujo constante y no cambian tan rápidamente como las normas formales de un nuevo orden jurídico. Estas limitaciones culturales permiten conectar el pasado con el presente y el futuro, lo que ayuda a explicar el hecho de que la historia importa, pues no podemos comprender el presente sin comprender la trayectoria de las instituciones en nuestras sociedades.
Through reflection on liberal revolutions it is possible to verify the existence of different legal cultures, which within the framework of European culture generate various legal institutions for the consolidation of the nation-state. Studying the history of legal cultures in liberal revolutions will help us to understand that every culture has its beliefs, norms and values, which are in a constant flow and do not change as quickly as the formal norms of a new legal order. These cultural limitations allow us to connect the past with the present and the future, which helps explain the fact that history matters, because we cannot understand the present without understanding the trajectory of the institutions in our societies.
Através da reflexão sobre revoluções liberais, é possível verificar a existência de várias culturas jurídicas, que no âmbito da cultura européia geram várias instituições jurídicas para a consolidação do Estados nação. Estudar a história das culturas legais nas revoluções liberais nos ajudará a entender que toda cultura tem suas crenças, normas e valores, que estão em constante fluxo e não mudam tão rapidamente quanto as normas formais de uma nova ordem jurídica. Essas limitações culturais nos permitem conectar o passado com o presente e o futuro, o que ajuda a explicar o fato de que a história importa, porque não podemos entender o presente sem entender a trajetória das instituições em nossas sociedades.
