El objetivo de este artículo es realizar una revisión sistemática de producción científica actual relacionada a las Actividades Sexuales Online (ASO). A través de la revisión se establecieron tres categorías de análisis: a) diferencias en los comportamientos y usos en las ASO entre hombres y mujeres; b) cuáles son las motivaciones que llevan a practicar algún tipo de ASO; c) posibles consecuencias psico-sociales que pueden ocurrir por su consumo. Del análisis se desprende que existen diferencias en la práctica de las ASO, no solo respecto al género, sino también a las edades y los vínculos que se mantenga, existiendo un consenso de que los hombres son quienes consumen cibersexo en mayor frecuencia. Dentro de las principales motivaciones, se encuentra la satisfacción personal, ya sea para relajarse del estrés, buscar material para masturbarse o conocer más sobre la sexualidad. Mientras que las posibles consecuencias psico-sociales posibles, varían en función de la práctica que se analice y el contexto.

The objective of this article is to conduct a systematic review of the current scientific production related to Online Sexual Activities Online (OSA). Through the review, three categories of analysis were established: a) differences in behaviors and uses in OSA between men and women; b) what are the motivations that lead to practice some type of OSA; c) possible psycho-social consequences that may occur due to its consumption. The analysis shows that there are differences in the practice of ASO, not only with respect to gender, but also to ages and the links that are maintained, there is a consensus that men are the ones who consume cybersex more frequently. Among the main motivations we find personal satisfaction whether to relax from stress, find material to masturbate or learn more about sexuality. While the possible psychosocial consequences vary according to the practice that is analyzed and the context.
