Este trabajo final de especialización (TFE) brinda un primer avance del proyecto de investigación destinado a arrojar luz sobre las dinámicas que caracterizaron la relación entre el coleccionismo privado y público en la formación del acervo museístico en el interior del país. Se presenta el tema de investigación que consiste en el análisis de la colección fotográfica del arquitecto Eduardo González Pose (1895-1981) ubicada en la Sala de Arte del Liceo Departamental “Miguel C. Rubino” y en el Museo Histórico Casa de Rivera de Durazno con el objetivo de reconstruir su formación, analizar los canales de circulación, así como también, indagar sobre los mecanismos y actores que incidieron en su pasaje a la esfera pública. En este TFE se realiza una revisión exhaustiva y sistemática de la literatura existente que da cuenta de los antecedentes de investigación sobre el tema y aporta categorías para su análisis. Asimismo, el caso de estudio se pone en diálogo con otros coleccionistas fotográficos y lo ocurrido a sus colecciones.

This final specialization project (FSP) provides an initial advancement of the research project aimed at shed light on the dynamics that characterized the relationship between private and public collecting in the formation of museum collections within the country. The research topic is introduced, which consists of the analysis of the photographic collection of architect Eduardo González Pose (1895-1981) located in the Art Room of the province high school "Miguel C. Rubino" and in the Historical Museum Casa de Rivera in Durazno, with the objective of reconstructing its formation, analyzing the channels of circulation, as well as to inquire into the mechanisms and actors that influenced its transition to the public sphere. This FSP conducts a comprehensive and systematic review of the existing literatura which accounts for research background on the topic and provides categories for analysis. In addition to this, the case study is put into dialogue with other photographic collectors and explores the fate of their collections.
