The authors make a revision of this subject as regards aseries of 26 operated patients with sma/1 differentiatedcarcinomas of the tyroid (less than 15 mm). They point outthese tumors' main features: they are frequently occult, ofincidental finding, and with excel/ent prognosis whentreated by means of a lees-than-total thyroidectomy
A propósito de una serie de 26 pacientes operados concarcinomas diferenciados del tiroides de un tamaño menorde 15 mm los autores realizan una revisión del temadestacando los caracteres principales de estos tumores:frecuentemente ocultos, de hallazgo incidental y con unpronóstico excelente tratados por tiroidectomía menos quetotal.
