Croci, Fabio - Pérez Penco, Ernesto

Resumen:

The conceptual surgery of indirect inguinal hernia re•quires an exhaustiva anatomical and functional study ofthe deep inguinal ring, whose containment failuresexplain the mecanisms of hernia appearance. The delicatevalvular mechanism of the deep inguinal ring is themost important anti-herniary factor. When it fails, the habitationof the congenital peritoneal diverticulum takesplace. A technical system of fascio-ligamentary repair ofindirec inguinal hernia has been developed based on thisconcept. This method has been used for three years inmore than a hundred patients, with very good results.
