Resumen:
35 cases of traumatic retroperitoneal hematomafrom the !CU registry at Pasteur Hospital wereanalysed as regards age, gender, lesiona!mechanism, type of trauma (open-closed),presence of shock, transfusion needs,associated injuries and treatment. Hematomaswere classified into five types according to theclassification of the Argentine Association ofSurgery Out of the 35 cases, 21 were opentrauma {60%) and 14 were closed (40%).
Fueron analizados 35 casos de hematomaretroperitoneal traumático del archivo de CTI delHospital Pasteur. Se analizaron los mismos contablas de datos que incluyeron: edad, sexo,mecanismo lesiona!, tipo de trauma(abierto-cerrado), presencia de shock,necesidad de transfusiones, injurias asociadas ytratamiento realizado. Se clasificaron loshematomas según la clasificación de laAsociación Argentina de Cirugía, en cinco tipos.De los 35 casos, 21 fueron traumatismosabiertos (60%) y 14 lo fueron cerrados (40%).
