The radiology in the diagnosis and staging of gastric cancer

Zubiaurre, Jorge Leandro

Resumen:

It is estimated that gastric cancer, developed inthe glandular epithelium of the mucosa, remains confinedto her for a long time - up to 10years - in most cases. If this is true, the chance of detecting lesions in early stagesis good (19). Most elevated injuriestype I and Ila are of differentiated type, and the timewhat takes place for them to transform into a canceradvanced is believed to be relatively long. The lesionsdepressed would also go through multiple episodesof ulceration-healing (malignant cycle) in its slowdevelopment course.
