The paper discusses one case of carcinoid tumor of the terminal ileon with multiple metastasis in the liver and ascitis, accompanied by a carcinoid syndrome. While the patient is in hospital he presents symptoms of obstruction in the small intestine and is operated. There is a tumorand metastasis. In tracing tumor histology the rich associated symptomatology is interpreted in the diagnosis
Se presenta un tumor carcinoide de lleon terminal, con metástasis múltiples de hígado y ascitis, acompañado de un síndrome carcinoide.Estando internado hace un cuadro oclusivo de intestino delgado, por el cual se opera, comprobando la presencia del tumory metástasis. Retrospectivamente, al estudiar la histología del tumor, se hace diagnóstico interpretando la rica sintomatologíaasociada.
