Resumen:
Report on one case of preoperatory transhepatic percutaneous extemal drainage of biliary tract with description of technique employed, its bases and indications. It has Proved a useful procedure for preoperatory decompression; being pennanent and prolongued, involving in this particular case- no accidents; and renders possible an irnprovement of the patient's condicion prior to surgery, thus reducing the high death rate of these operations.
Se presenta una observación de drenaje externo percutáneo transhepático preoperatorio de la vía biliar.Se describe su técnica, fundamentos e indicaciones.Se destaca su utilidad como método de descompresión preoperatorio, permanente, prolongado, sin accidentes en este caso en particular, que permite mejorar las condiciones del paciente para luego poder ser intervenido quirúrgicamente, disminuyendo así la alta mortalidad de estas operaciones.
