Splanchnicectomy is nowadays the surgicalprocedure of election as palliative to pancreaticorigin pain,· it furthermore entails a minimally in vasive approach and is therefore less aggressive,faster and ofers a better comfort rafe for patientsa/ready sufering deterioration due to basicdisease.This paper is directed at the anatomic study offormation pattens, branches of origin, anastomosisand symmety of majar and minar sp/anchnicsin 30 sympathetic ganglia chains, in arder to confrontclassic and moden anatomic aspects withhe diversiy of procedures descbed in peforminghis type of surgey as well as to enable popasalof a technique that so/ves its more contovesia/aspects.
La esplacnicectomía toracoscópica constituyehoy en día el pocedimiento quirúrgico de elecciónpara paliar el dolor de origen pancreático; suponeademás un abordaje mínimamente inyasivo y portanto menos agresivo, más rápido y con mejorestasas de confort en pacientes ya de por si deterioradospor su enfermedad de base
