Resumen:
The authors present a new case of severetrauma of the pancreas, due to closed abdominal trauma which required urgentexcision surgery. They present the clinicalcase, operative findings and surgicaltreatment, which consisted of urgent atypica/duodenopancreatectomy. Discussion iscentered on the lesiona/ type of pancreatictrauma and its therapeutica/ alternatives.They point out the good postoperativeevolution and the low frequency of this typeof trauma which explains the scarce nationaland international casuistry. They a/so presentcomparative series as regards frequency andmorbimortality.
Los autores aportan un nuevo caso detraumatismo grave de páncreas, por traumacerrado abdomina(que requirió cirugíaresectiva de urgencia. Se presenta el casoclínico, los hallazgos operatorios y eltratamiento quirúrgico realizado, queconsistió en duodenopancreatectomía atípicade urgencia. La discusión se centra en el tipolesiona/ de trauma pancreático y sqsalternativas terapéuticas.
