Leiomiosarcoma de recto
Resumen:
A case of leiomyosarcoma of the rectum is presented andbibliography on the subject is analysed. They areextreme/y rare tumors whose diagnosis is made bymeans of rectal examination and rectosigmoidoscopy.Treatment consists of abdominoperineal amputation andadjuvant chemotherapy. They have a low survival rate at5 and 1 O years.
Se presenta un caso de leiomiosarcoma de recto y seanaliza la bibliografía sobre el tema.Son tumores extremadamente raros, cuyo diagnóstico sehace con el tacto rectal y la rectosigmoidoscopía.El tratamiento es la amputación abdómino-perineal yquimioterapia adyuvante.Tienen una baja tasa de sobrevida a los 5 y 1 O años.
