Resumen:

The paper describes two cases of spontaneous peritonitis of reno-pyelo-ureteral origin; one of them is the first case in national literature diagnosed prior to operation.Cases recorded in the country are revised with respect to their ethiopathogenesis and pathological anatomy, with the emphasis in the elements of clinical andoperatory diagnosis. Ihe adequate surgical tactics are discussed, since they constitute a fundamental factor in the prognosis of this serious complication of high urinary pathology which eht urgency surgeon faces almost constantly.


Se presentan dos casos de peritonitis espontáneas de origen renopieloureteral, siendo uno de ellos el primer caso en la literatura nacional con diagnóstico preoperatorio.Se hace una revisión de los casos presentados en la casuística nacional, con respecto a la etiopatogenia Y anatomía patológica, con especial énfasis en los elementosde diagnóstico clínico y operatorio. Se discute la táctica quirúrgica adecuada a estos casos, factor fundamental en el pronóstico de esta grave complicación de la patología urinaria alta, a la que se ve enfrentado, casi constantemente, el cirujano de urgencia.
