Aortic aneurysms: Replacing the ascending aorta and aortic valve with a composite valved tube with restoration of the coronary circulation
Aneurismas de aorta: Reemplazo de aorta ascendente y válvula aórtica por tubo valvulado compuesto con restablecimiento de la circulación coronaria
Resumen:
Our experience with 10 patients wilh ascending aortic aneurysms is exposed. They were treated with a composite technique of valved tube graft. The coronary circulation was restablished with coronary arteries by pass grafts with saphenous vein or by the implant of the coronary ostium to the dacron tube. Patients with non dissecting aneurysrns (annulo aortic ectasia. Marfan and congenit) and dissecting aneurysrns (De Bakey type I or type II) of ascending aorta are included. Pathology showing the lesional extent in each case is analyzed. Technical details and results are exposed. A cornparative study between this serie and others authorsresults is done.
Exponemos nuestra experiencia con 10 pacientes portadores de aneurismas da aorta ascendente a los cuales se les trató con la técnica "compuesta" del tubo valvulado.La restitución de la circulación coronaria se realiza mediante by-pass aorto-coronario con vena safena o implantando los ostium coronarios al tubo de Dacron. Incluye pacientes con aneurismas no disecantes de aorta ascendente, (ectasia anulo-aórtica, Marfan y congénito) y con aneurismas disecantes (tipo I o tipo II de De Bakey).Analizamos la patología, mostrando la extensión lesional en cada caso.Describirnos los detalles de la técnica empleada y exponemos los resultados obtenidos. Realizarnos el estudio comparativo entre esta casuística y las presentadas por otros autores.
