La extensión de la resección glandular en el carcinoma diferenciado del tiroides
Resumen:
The author ana/yses the problem of the extension ofglandular resection in differentiated carcinoma of thethyroid and based on bibliographical revision and results ofa series of 39 resected carcinomas of this type, suggeststhat the selection of tha surgical tactic should be made byschematizing the situations that, according to extension ofglandular resection, correspond to total lobectomy, totalthyroidectomy, and near-total thyroidectomy, with a clearpredominance of the last procedure.
Se analiza el problema de la extensión de la resecciónglandular en el carcinoma diferenciado del tiroides, y enbase a la revisión bibliográfica y a los resultados de unaserie de 30 carcinomas de ese tipo operados, se proponela selección de la táctica quirúrgica a seguiresquematizando las situaciones que corresponden enextensión de resección glandular, a la lobectomfa,tiroidectomfa total y tiroidectomfa casi total tendiendo a unclaro predominio de esta última.
