Resumen:

Appendicular tumors have low incidence and arethe most frequent (up to 85% of neoplasias affectingthis location).In general, this condition is detected only whenthe specimen removed from a patient operated fromacute appendicitis is sent in for analysis. Thereforesurgeons should bear in mind the importance ofsending the specimen removed to the anatomopathologylaboratory.In this case there new case have been reported,and conduct upon finding said tumor is discussedin the paper


Los tumores apendiculares tienen una baja incidencia,siendo los tumores carcinoides los másfrecuentes llegando a 85% de las neoplasias queafectan a este órgano.El diagnóstico habitualmente se realiza comoun hallazgo luego del envío de las piezas a anatomíapatológica en un paciente operado de apendicitisaguda. Esto destaca la importanci9 de la remisiónde las piezas al laboratorio de anatomíapatológica.En la presente comunicación se reportan tresnuevos casos, donde se discutirá la conducta frenteal hallazgo de dicho tumor.
