Radiotherapy is the therapeutic weapon employed Inmammary cancer, which has been in use for the lastcentury; nonetheless sone controversy exists wlthrespect thereto.Currently, radiotherapy plays an impotant role, notmere/y as complementary treatment ater mastectom,but a/so as an indispensable complement fol/owingconservative treatment of mamma.
de mama que se utiliza desde hace 1 siglo sin embargoaún existen algunas contoversias respecto a lamisma.En la actualidad la radioterapia juega un papel importanteno solo como tratamiento complementario luegode una mastectomía sino como complemento indispensableluego de un tratamiento conservador de lamama.
