Resumen:

The authors analyse the experience obtained onintraoperative cholangiography in the first 79 laparoscopiccholecystectomies carried out at the British Hospital. Theydescribe the technique employed far its realizátion as we/1as different possible variations. They discuss thecontroversy of its systematic or directed realization. They conclude that it should be carried outsystematically when laparoscopic biliary surgery is in itsinitial period of apprenticeship in arder to: offer the patiental/ warranties as it is a new technique and acquire trainingin its laparoscopic realization even if it becomes ofselective indica/ion in the future.
