Based on morphological-mecanlcal functional andevolutiva consideratlons, the authors chose the oste•osynthesis by means of Judet's agraffes for the treat•ment of patlents with thoracic traumatism with mul•tiple costal fractures, accompanied with important de•formation, pain and persistent respiratory insuficiency.They have obtained good results and succeded inpreventing eventual sequela of said factors in patientstreated by this procedure.

Los autores, basándose en criterio morfológicosmecánicos,funcionales y evolutivos, optan por la os•teosíntesls mediante agrafes de Judet para los pacientescon traumatismos torácicos con fracturas costalesmúltiples con deformación importante, dolor e insufi•ciencia respiratoria persistente. Sus resultados han si•do buenos y se ha logrado evitar las secuelas pro•bables de las mismas en los enfermos tratados medianteeste procedimiento.
