The authors present a modification of the closing techniquefor abdominal wall by means of polyethylene tubes thatconsists of making them pass on the outside of the sheathof the rectus abdominis muse/es and instead of knottingtheir ends, securing them by different procedures. In thisway a better result is obtained as regards parietal integrityand ventilatory dynamica, and it makes definitive parietalclosing easier. The authors emphasize its indication incontained laparotomy patients.

Los autores presentan una modificación de la técnica delcierre de la pared abdominal con tubuladuras depolietileno que consiste en pasar las mismas por fuera dela vaina de los rectos, y en vez de anudar sus extremos,fijarlos por diferentes procedimientos.
