Resumen:
Ten cases of bilateral pulmonary hydatidosis were treated through successive bilateral thoracotomy in the Thoracic Surgery Service of the Saint-Bois Hospital.Case material is analyzed with special reference to the general conditions of patients, topography and number of cysts, approach and operatory techniques employed.This procedure. was highly successful in ali operated patients. It is important that such surgery only be performed where anesthesists, X-Ray controls and RecuperationServices with personnel traine.d in this type of surgery, be available.
Se presenta una serie de 10 observaciones de hidatidosis pulmonar bilateral tratadas con toracotomía bilateral sucesiva en el Servicio de Cirugía Torácica delHospital Saint-Bois. Se analiza la casuística señalando especialmente las condiciones generales de los pacientes, topografía y número de los quistes, vías de abordaje y técnicas operatorias utilizadas. Con este proceder se obtuvieron excelentes resultados en el total de los- pacientes operados. Se destaca la importancia de realizar esta cirugíasolo en medios donde se disponga de anestesista, controles Rx. y Servicio de Recuperación con personal entrenado en esta cirugía.
