Local complications of vein canulation
Complicaciones locales de las descubiertas venosas
Resumen:
Case material comprises 50 observations of patients in one hospital, in whom veins had to be exposed, for canulation. From the study of these cases the authors conclude that complications are due, in 80 % of cases, to iatrogenic causes. It woult seem that this procedure is resorted to excessively.
Los autores analizan 50 observaciones de descubiertas venosas efectuadas en un centro hospitalario. Concluyen que se complican en un 80 % de los casos debido fundamentalmente a causas iatrogénicas. Llaman la atención sobre el abuso de este procedimiento.
