Resultados alejados de la embolización selectiva con tejido adiposo: Este trabajo obtuvo el Premio Hoechst al Forum del XXVIII Congreso Uruguayo de Cirugía
Resumen:
Until the present moment no substance had been successful in occluding vessels ·n a permanent manner. The authors, however, have conducted experiments utilizing an adipose tissue emborus which has proved useful in definitively occluding vessels. These were performed in three series, using animals. In view of the good results obtained, the method has been applied to human clinics.
No existe una sustancia que ocluya los vasos a permanencia. Los autores presentlain como hecho original su experiencia con el émbolo de tejido adiposo que ocluye los vasos en forma permanente. Se planificó el trabajo con animales en tres series. Dado los buenos resultados obtenidos se aplicó en la clínica humana.
