Diagnosis was established in a patient suffering from distomatosis hepatica due to fasciola when the parasite was found in the main biliary tract. The papercontains a review of this condition which includes its frequency, biological cycle, clinical and laboratory picture, possibilities for diagnosis, anatomopathologicalcharacteristics and treatment.
Con motivo de un caso de distomatosis hepática por fasciola cuyo diagnóstico se realizó al hallar el parásito en la vía biliar principal se realiza una breve revisión de su frecuencia, ciclo biológico, cuadro clínico y die laboratorio, posibilidads diagnósticas, caracteres a,natomopatológicos y tratamiento.
