Resumen:
A left paraduodenal hernia is an internal hernia in which the small intestine protrudes through a congenital mesenteric defect called the Landzert fossa. This fossa is located behind the fourth portion of the duodenum and is bordered medially by an elevation of the peritoneal fold containing the inferior mesenteric vein and laterally by the left ascending colic artery.
La hernia paraduodenal izquierda es una hernia interna en la que el intestino delgado protruye a través de un defecto mesentérico congénito denominado fosa de Landzert. Ésta se encuentra detrás de la cuarta porción duodenal y se delimita medialmente por la elevación de un pliegue peritoneal que contiene la vena mesentérica inferior y lateralmente por la arteria cólica izquierda ascendente.
Uma hérnia paraduodenal esquerda é uma hérnia interna na qual o intestino delgado se projeta através de um defeito mesentérico congênito chamado fossa de Landzert. Essa fossa está localizada atrás da quarta porção do duodeno e é delimitada medialmente por uma elevação da prega peritoneal que contém a veia mesentérica inferior e lateralmente pela artéria cólica ascendente esquerda.
