Empleo de materiales protésicos en las hernias inguino-crurales y sus recidivas
Resumen:
Authors present their personal experience in the useof prosthesic material in the surgery of inguino-cruralhernias and their failure as applied to a series of 140 cases,73 of which were failures and among them, 24 reci•divous hernias. Complication rate was 4,2% ·and thefailure rate was 5%. The material used in most cases(90%) was the Marlex mesh.
Los autores presentan su experiencia personal en elempleo de los materiales protésicos en la cirugía de lahernia inguino-crural y de sus recidivas, a propósito deuna serie de 140 casos, de los cuales 73 eran recidivasy entre ellas, 24 hernias recidivantes. El indice decomplicaciones fue del 4,2% y el de recidivas del 5%.El material empleado en la mayoría de los casos (90%)fue la malla de Marlex.
