Description and discussion of the medical history of a femaie patient with multiple antecedents in hydatidosis, affected by vertebral hydatidosis presenting medullar compression with paraparesis of lower extremities. She was thoroughly examined and operated twice, though stiil pendent the second stage of surgical treatment, consisting in the resection of two vertebral pieces. Operations were followed by evolutive control and medica! treatment with !he use of Mebendazol.

Se presenta y comenta la historia clínica de una paciente con múltiples antecedentes de hidatidosis, con hidstidosis vertebral que presenta compresión medular con paraparesia de miembros inferiores. Fue completamente valorada e intervenida en dos oportunidades restando la segunda etapa del tratamiento quirúrgico que será la resección de dos cuerpos vertebrales. Se prosigue luego con control evolutivo y tratamiento médico mediante el empleo de Mebendazol.
