Study of forty surgically neoplasic patients that wereevaluated and nutritionally recovered through a singleprotocol. Discussed are !he value of !he notion of posingweight and its statiscally significan! relation withplasmatic proteins and immunily bu! no with !he extentof !he neoplasm.In very poor surgical risk patients, emphasis is laidon precise nutritional indication as far as !he surgicalprocedure is concerned and complications inherent insuch practice, concluding lhey are acceptabl:; consideringbenefits, and !he complications inherent in same.


40 pacientes neoplásicos quirúrgicos, evaluados yrepuestos nutricionalmente por un protocolo único,son estudiados. La validez de la noción de pérdida depeso y su relación estadísticamente significaba con lasproteínas plasmáticas e inmunidad pero no con la extensióndel neoplasma, son discutidas.En pacientes de riesgo quirúrgico importante, se in•siste en la precisa indicación de la nutrición en relaciónal acto quirúrgico y las complicaciones inherentes a suempleo, que son aceptables considerando los benefi·cios.
