La consulta intraoperatoria con el patólogo (CIP) en las lesiones foliculares tiroideas
Resumen:
A series of 85 follicular lesions studied by the pathologistintraoperatively is analysed. Sensitivity for cancerdiagnosis: 100%. Specificity: 95% with positive predictivevalue of 76.9% and negative one of 100%. lt is concludedthat this is a high value study when carried out by a trainedpathologist.
Se analiza una serie de 85 lesiones foliculares estudiadaspor el patólogo intraoperatoriamente (CIP) lográndose enel diagnóstico de cáncer una sensibilidad de 100%, unaespecificidad de 95% con un valor predictivo positivo de76.9% y negativo de 100%.Se concluye en el alto valor de este estudio cuando esrealizado por un patólogo entrenado.
