Resumen:

Case history consisted of 2 patients sufferingfrom dental origin Cervico-Mediastinal NecrotizingCellulitis.As a first step the authors proceeded to analyzetwo dissemination paths, the more frequent etiologiesand clinical presentation. Cervico-thoracicCT scanning was deemed to be the best line ofdetection far mediastinal involement exploration.This was followed by a debate as to whichshould be the surgical approach, whether cervicalo cervicothoracic, the conclusion being that thebest procedure would be the videothrorascopicapproach in experienced hands.


Presentamos 2 pacientes portadores de celulitisnecrotizantes cérvico mediastinales, de origendentario.Se analizan las vías de diseminación, etiologíasmás frecuentes y presentación clínica.Le damos importancia a la TAC cérvico torácicacomo el examen de jerarquía para valorar elcompromiso mediastinal.Discutimos las vías de abordaje quirúrgico, yasea cervicales o cervicotorácicas, planteando elabordaje videotoracóscopico en manos experimentadas.
