Hemangiopericitoma lumbar
Resumen:
A case of malignant hemangiopericytoma of the lumbar somatic soft tissues is presented. It was treated by radical en bloc surgical excision. Now it is asyntomatic after 18 months.Long term follow-up is recommended because local recurrence or metastasis may occur longer than 5 years after apperently successful treatment.
Los autores presentan un caso de hema,ngiopericitoma maligno de partes blandas de región lumbar; tratado mediante resección local en block. Actualmente asintomático luego de 18 meses de evolución; clínica. El control postoperatorio debe ser prolongado en virtud de que las recidivas o las metástasis, son frecuentes aúnmás allá de los 5 años luego de tratamientos aparentemente exitosos.
