One hundred and twenty cases of h2patic echinoccocosis in the child are reviewed. Biliary complications of these cases, which are 12. 5 % of them, are pointecl out. Surgical proceclures are reviewed. The removal of 1he parasyte, with the resection of the emergent aclventitia and closure of the, remaining cavity without any drainage is the procedure usually followed.


En un estudio de 120 observaciones de equinococosis hepática en, el niño, el autor analiza las complicaciones biliares de las mismas, que alcanzan un porcentaje del 12.5 %. Se analizan los procedimientos más usados en su tratamiento quirúrgico, ocupando 1,a evacuación del parásito, con resección de la adveinticia emergente y el cierre y abandono de la cavidad residual, el primer lugar entre ellos.
