Intestinal strangulation: some clinical and radiological aspects
Estrangulación intestinal: algunos aspectos clínicos y radiológicos
Resumen:
The paper refers to sone dinical and radiological aspects of intestinal strangulation. Clinically: l ) intensity of pain; 2) antalgic flexure posture in sone interna} herniation; 3) existence of tense, painful tumefaction which corresponds to the strangled loops. Radiologically: 1) opacity zones which correspond to strangled loops, with an advanced degree of suffering; 2) aerojejunia, without hydroaerial levels in those situations which most áffect the vitality of the loop; 3) the existence of residual gas in the colon. Radiological and clinical studies may lead to an early and efficient diagnosis of this serious disease.
Se destacan algunos aspectos clinicorradiológicos de la estrangulación intestinal. Clínicamente: 1) la intensidad del dolor; 2) la actitud antálgica de flexiónen algunas hernias internas; 3) la existencia de una tumefacción tensa, dolorosa, correspondiente a las asas estranguladas. Radiológicamente: 1) una zona deopacidad, correspondiente a las asas estranguladas, de acuerdo con un grado de sufrimiento avanzado; 2) la aeroyeyunia, sin niveles hidroaéreos en las situacionesde mayor compromiso de vitalidad del asa; 3) la existencia de gases residuales en el colon. El ·conjunto radiológico puede ( junto con la clínica) hacer el diagnóstico tempranoy eficaz de afección tai grave.
