Meningioma del foramen magno
Resumen:
The authors describe a case of foramen magnum meningioma of the spinocranial type.Clinical, radiological and surgical findings are presented.The need of an adequate surgical exposure of the tumor and of a complete excision without damage to the brain possible nowadays by means of a microneurosurgical technique- are underlined.
Los autores presentan un caso de meningioma del foramen magno, de la variedad espinocraneal. Se describe la clínica, la radiología y los hallazgoi operatorios.Se insiste en la necesidad de una adecuada exposición quirúrgica del tumor y de una exéresis completa sin dañar al neuroeje, posible hoy en día gracias a la técnica microneuroquirúrgica.
