Ligadura de la arteria hipogástrica en los traumatismos graves de la pelvis
Resumen:
The ligature of the hypogastric artery, a technique already applied in various countries is a simple, probably life-saving measure in severe pelvic injuries, as it enables the checking of the overpowering hemorrhages underlying their severity. It has been contended that shock cases slould not be operated on, but in the light . of present-day knowledge persistent shock may be the foremost indication for emergency surgery.
Se presenta la técnica de ligadura de la arteria hipogástrica, ya ensayada en el extranjero, como una maniobra sencilla y posiblemente sal adora en los traumatismos graves de la pelvis, al permitir controlar las hemorragias formidables originantes de su gravedad. Se ha dicho que no se debe operar shockados, pero, actualmente el shock persistente puede ser la máxima indicación de una operación urgente.
