Resumen:
A description is given of a familia/ group wherein alimembers shared the same dwe/ling and were sufferers ofgastritis and duodenal ulcers; members exhibited gastriccolonization by Helicobacter pylori (H.P.) the antimicrobialtreatment of which has so far attained the eradication ofthe germ and the cure of the ulcero-peptic disease. Adiscussion is carried out of the gene tic origin of thefamilia/ duodenal ulcer; a/so described are thecharacteristics of the germ (H.P.), its association with thegastroduodenal pathology, therapeutics andepidemiology. The condition traces the origin of thecurrent familia/ ailment and deals with successfu/ therapyunderlying the resolution of the pathology.
Se describe un grupo familiar en el cual todos losintegrantes que conviven en el mismo domicilio sonportadores de gastritis y úlceras duodenales; en éstos,se demuestra la colonización gástrica por Helicobacterpylori (H.P.) cuyo tratamiento antimicrobiano logra, a lafecha, la erradicación del germen y la curación de suenfermedad úlcero-péptica. Se realizan consideracionessobre el origen genético de la úlcera duodenal familiar;igualmente, se describen las características del germen(H.P.), su asociación con la patología gastroduodenal,terapéutica y epidemiología. AJ mismo se le atribuye elorigen de la presente afección familiar y a su terapéuticaexitosa la resolución de la patología.
