Giant metrachronous gastric gist
Gist gástrico gigante metacrono
Resumen:
GIST tumors are rare, originating in mesenchymal and extramucosal nerve structures along the digestive tract. A 59-year-old female patient with a high-grade giantgastric GIST who underwent a complete resection. Gastric GIST is usually benign and resectable in most cases, where the mini-invasive approach is the choice. The main prognostic factors are size and mitotic activity. In this case, the metachronous presentation and a particular biologic alaggressiveness stand out.
