La patología oncológica en conjunto constituye,como ya fuera señalado en otras publicaciones ( 1),un importante factor como causa de mortalidad. Parael año 1986, la mortalidad oncológica representóel 23,2% del total de muertes, ocupando el segundolugar, luego de las afecciones cardiocirculatorias.
