Radioterapia y cirugía combinadas en el cáncer de esófago
Resumen:
The authors point out the advantages of preoperatory radiotherapy followed by surgical exeresis, in the case of neoplasms of the esophagus. The reasons for combining these procedures are stated; the techniques and tactics used in 14 cases which were treated with satisfactory results, are described indetail.
Los autores señalan las ventajas que se obtienen con la radioterapia preoperatoria seguida de exéresis quirúrgica, en los neoplasmas de esófago. Se exponen los fundamentos de ambos procedimientos combinados, y se dan detalles sobre las técnicas y tácticas usadas en 14 casos tratados, con resultados satisfactorios.
