The first appendectomies, cholecystostomies and gastro - enterostomies were performed in Uruguay in the last few years of the past century, almost ,simultaneouslywith their performance in sone European countries.
Las primeras apendicectomías, colecistostomías. y gastroenterostomías se efectuaron en el Uruguay en los últimos años del s,iglo pasado,en forma casi simultánea con algunos pa.íses europeos.
