Four clinical cases had in common the existenceof a clinical/y evident digestive héEmorrhage ofuncertain origin. This situation is defined as a lowdigestive héEmorrhage of undetected origin. Thesma/1 intestine appears to be the -ll;Ss frequentlocation within the spectrum of digestivehéEmorrhages, but its importance stands out withinthis clinical manifestation.There fo/lows an analysis of likely etiologies withparticular emphasis on diagnostic approachaccording to the various clinical forms ofpresentation.


Se presentan cuatro casos clínicos que tienenen común la existencia de una hemorragia digestivaclínicamente evidente pero de origen incierto.Se define esta situación como una hemorragia digestivabaja no filiada. El intestino delgado semuestra como la localización menos frecuente enel espectro de las hemorragias digestivas, pero sejerarquiza su importancia dentro de esta particularexpresión clínica. Se analizan las posibles etiologíasy especialmente el abordaje diagnóstico deacuerdo a las distintas formas clínicas de presentación.
