Resumen:

A descriptive analysis of a series of 177 operations dueto Colorrectal tumoral pathology with a high prevalenceof malignant neoplasia (95.4%) is carried out.Complications rise to 30%, with 10% global mortality and6% surgical mortality. An association between medica/complications and mortality is found. Among surgicalcomplications, parietal and urinary ones are frequent;there is an evident relationship between sepsis and death.T he authors make considerations lending to decreasemedica/ complications which are considered avoidable,as we/1 as the surgical ones (urinary and parietal).Al/ complications need to be prevented and earfydiagnosed in order to decrease high vital and functional costs


Se realiza el análisis descriptivo de 177 intervencionespor patología tumoral co/orrectal, con alta prevalencia deneoplasias malignas (95.4%). Las complicaciones seelevan a 30%, con una mortalidad global de 10% yquirúrgica de 6%.Se halla asociación entre complicaciones médicas ymortalidad.En las complicaciones quirúrgicas, son frecuentes lasurinarias y parietales, hallándose una relación evidenteentre sepsis y muerte.Se hacen apreciaciones en cuanto a abatir lascomplicaciones médicas, que se estiman evitables, asícomo las quirúrgicas, urinarias y parietales.Todas las complicaciones necesitan de prevención yde diagnóstico precoz para disminuir sus altos costosvitales y funcionales.
