Resumen:
As a consequence of adenocarcinoma of sigmoid, a patient developed closed occlusion of colon with total necrosis o-f intestine and predominance in caecum andascending colon. Urgency surgery consisted of total ileocolectomy with transit restitution in the same act. The patient's post-operatory evolution was good and5 months later no recurrency was clinically evident.
Un adenocarcinoma de sigmoide determinó una oclusión cerrada de colon con necrosis total del intestino predominando en ciego y ascendente. Se intervino deurgencia realizándose ileocolectomía total con restitución del tránsito en el mismo acto operatorio. Buena evolución postoperatoria con sobrevida sin recidiva clínicaevidente a los 5 meses.
